From October 5-11, 2008, fire
safety advocates will spread the word to their communities that,
with a little extra caution, preventing the leading causes of home
fires – cooking, heating, electrical and smoking-materials – is
within their power.

Structure Fire
On Tuesday September 16th Engine 401 was dispatched with Erlanger
for a possible structure fire on Kimberly Drive. Elsmere 425 was
first on scene reporting a working fire in a single apartment.

On Sunday September 14th, the citizens of Elsmere and
surrounding communities endured storms that were brought here from
Hurricane Ike that originally hit the Gulf Coast of Texas. This
storm brought to Northern Kentucky extremely high winds and caused

business. Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a piece of machinery.
